The Impact of Couple Therapy Based on Relationship Enrichment Approach on Couples’ Intimacy and Sexual Function

Background: Intimacy is one of the basic and psychological needs couples a motivating factor in their sexual participation. Objectives: To determine impact couple therapy based on relationship enrichment approach intimacy function consulting healthcare centers. Methods: This research was quasi-experimental study performed 60 referring to Comprehensive Health Centers southeast Iran 2020. The instruments included demographic information questionnaire, three standard questionnaires men women. educational content implemented only for intervention group. Data were collected at baseline, 8th week, 12th week after intervention. analyzed using descriptive statistics two-factor repeated measures ANOVA SPSS (ver. 21) software. Results: results showed that had significant effect group time periods (P < 0.001), whereas control group, no difference observed > 0.05). Conclusions: counseling can increase couples.
